FreeAgent was born in 2007 with the goal of making small businesses happier and more successful by putting them in control of their finances.

Nowadays, our accounting software helps over 200,000 small businesses and their accountants and bookkeepers streamline their admin, connect their finances and relax about tax.

From hiring our very first employee back in 2008, we’ve grown to nearly 300 employees who all share the same vision and values. FreeAgent was acquired by the NatWest Group in early 2018, but we remain operationally independent of the group.
