About NFL

The National Football League is the number one professional sports league in the US. Made up of 32 teams, its season culminates in one of the biggest events in the world, Super Bowl.

The NFL has been playing regular-season games in London since 2007. By the end of 2018, the NFL will have staged 24 games in London, with 29 of the 32 teams having played at least one game in the UK. This season will see three games taking place in London, including three teams who have never played here, the Seattle Seahawks, Tennessee Titans and last season’s Super Bowl winners Philadelphia Eagles, featuring star British running back Jay Ajayi.

The NFL’s UK fan base now includes more than three million ‘avid’ fans.  More than 100 NFL games are shown live on Sky Sports every season, with the BBC airing two highlights shows per week, plus Super Bowl and London Games live.
