Undergraduate students, 2nd or 3rd year of study and graduates seeking a training contract.

Join us at our offices for an interactive evening with our lawyers. Hear how they got into the profession, test your instincts, and get your questions about graduate recruitment answered.

What to expect

  • Meet the panel: Our lawyers will introduce themselves, share their journeys into law, and explain why Arnold & Porter appealed to them.
  • Two Truths and a Lie: Each panelist shares three statements about their career. Can you spot the lie before you hear the story behind it?
  • Ask us anything: In an open Q&A, ask about life as a lawyer and about graduate recruitment, from applications and assessment days to what we look for in candidates.
  • Stay and connect: Keep the conversation going with our team during the networking session.

This is the first in a series of fireside events running through to 2027, each exploring a different topic.

Please note: as this is an in-person event, there will be limited availability and places will be given on a first come first served basis.

Who can attend?

  • Undergraduate students, 2nd or 3rd year of study and post-graduates seeking a training contract.
  • Law and non-Law students are welcome!
