About us

As Admiral continues to grow in both size and complexity, we’re looking for talented people who want to help shape what’s next.

Admiral is a Financial Services company, offering a wide variety of insurance and lending products. Founded by two MBAs with a vision for creating a supportive and enriching work environment, Admiral Group has grown into a successful FTSE 100 company, operating in the UK, France, Italy, and Spain.

Since we were founded, we’ve grown by staying focused on our customers, empowering our people and challenging conventional thinking. We believe great ideas can come from anywhere, and we encourage people to take ownership, try new things and make a meaningful difference.

Our Pricing department plays a central role in our success, and we’re excited to welcome new talent to help shape what’s next.

The opportunity

As an International Pricing Manager (IPM), you will apply thoughtful problem-solving, creativity, and strong collaboration skills to solve complex business needs. No prior industry experience is required - we’ll support your learning and development.

You’ll join our Strategic Pricing and Risk (SPARK) Programme - a fast-track professional development initiative tailored for MBA graduates to prepare for a leadership role within the business by developing an expertise in pricing, data, risk, and the technologies shaping the future of insurance.

The SPARK Programme Offers:

  • 4 - 6 months of dedicated training to understand our Pricing, Data, and Risk functions
  • On-the-job learning through projects with real business impact
  • Exposure to senior stakeholders, including the C-suite

Projects may include supporting the growth of our EV proposition across Europe, exploring how AI and emerging technologies can transform pricing, creating competitive advantage through data, launching new products, or addressing complex market-specific challenges.

Career progression

The SPARK programme is one of the ways Admiral invests in the future leaders who will help shape and grow the business. We’re committed to preparing talented people to step into senior roles, lead important projects, and make a meaningful contribution across Pricing & Data, our international businesses, and the wider Group.

The fast growth of our international companies, as well as our expansion into new product lines, will create exciting future career opportunities for IPMs. Admiral has always focused on fostering talent internally and putting great people in places where they can do great things.

Past IPMs include the CEO of our US Insurance Operation and the Head of our Travel Insurance venture in the UK.

  • Share insights and recommendations with senior stakeholders
  • Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business leaders across our international operations
  • Lead work that helps the business make better decisions, manage risk effectively, and create impact across the organisation

Location

This role is based at our HQ in Cardiff, UK, although we work on a flexible hybrid model meaning you won’t need to be in the office every day.

There may also be potential opportunities in Paris, Rome and Seville. For roles outside the UK, we may consider direct placements outside the programme.

Essential:

  • An MBA from a leading business school
  • Strong quantitative skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and make evidence-based decisions
  • Confidence working with numbers, statistics, and analytical problem-solving
  • A strategic mindset, demonstrated through past experience
