Job Description

We are looking for graduates with commitment and enthusiasm who want to be part of a technologically advanced, innovative and global organisation. Airbus graduates have a fantastic chance to learn invaluable skills whilst developing personal and technical abilities.

You will begin your Airbus journey at our Broughton site (near Chester) which is home of Wing manufacture for all Airbus Commercial Aircraft. The Programme Planning Team is one of the largest and most diversely skilled departments at Broughton. The focused training and structured placements you will undertake will ensure you are fully equipped for your future career at Airbus.

The Programme Planning community ensures that Airbus Broughton has the capacity and capability to deliver the Airbus wing production requirements, in accordance with aircraft commercial delivery dates. You will work closely with the Operations team to provide manufacturing build schedules, resource plans, production build reporting, and scenario analysis. You will also support the provision of data to the senior management team to enable them to make important strategic and tactical decisions.

You will also learn how to be responsible for producing and maintaining the long term production schedule for all the products across in the Broughton plant, and managing adherence to the build plan, whilst ensuring it is achievable.

We offer a flexible programme, allowing you the opportunity to tailor your experience to suit the Manufacturing Engineering path you wish to take. You will be able to combine a number of rotational placements with specialist training in the UK, as well as have opportunities to work cross-functionally and transnationally. Airbus is also adopting a hybrid of working from home/on site approach, which will vary depending on your placements.

We embrace diversity and believe in building empowered teams of complementary personalities and skills. We are looking for highly motivated and talented individuals to influence the evolution of an established wing manufacturing facility.

On your first day, you will join your initial area after an engaging and relaxed induction and learn more about the opportunities ahead. Your Graduate network and Generation-Airbus colleagues will share experiences, offer support, create social bonds and form a real platform for development, fun and career progression.
