We operate one of the UK’s larger independent pharmacy groups, with over 200 branches nationwide, alongside a growing family of health-tech products: an in-house pharmacy operations platform used across our estate, a payroll portal, and LocumBay, our locum management and recruitment platform.
The role
Based across our Salford, St Helens and Old Swan sites, you’ll own day-to-day content creation and publishing across the group:
- Plan, create, and publish content for our pharmacy branches — social media, local campaigns, health awareness dates, in-branch promotional material
- Produce marketing content for our software products (product pages, feature announcements, case studies, email campaigns)
- Grow LocumBay’s presence with content aimed at locums and pharmacy owners — job-market content, recruitment campaigns, social posts
- Manage publishing schedules and content calendars across multiple brands and channels
- Track engagement and use what you learn to improve what we put out
Who we’re looking for
- Junior candidates and recent graduates welcome — attitude and output matter more than years of experience
- Strong writing skills and an eye for clean, on-brand visuals
- Genuinely open to working with AI tools — we use AI heavily across the business, and you’ll be expected to use it to produce more, faster, without sacrificing quality. Experience with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI, or similar is a plus; willingness to learn them is essential
- Comfortable juggling multiple brands with different audiences (patients, pharmacists, locums, pharmacy owners)
- Organised and self-directed — you’ll have real ownership from day one
- Able to travel between our three sites as needed
Nice to have
- Experience with social media scheduling tools, basic design (Canva/Figma/Adobe), or email marketing platforms
- Any exposure to healthcare, pharmacy, or B2B SaaS marketing
What you get
- £30,000 starting salary
- A rare breadth of marketing experience early in your career — consumer, B2B, and recruitment marketing across one group
- Direct exposure to how a 200+ branch business and its software products actually run
