The opportunity
If you're naturally curious, enjoy solving problems and like finding better ways of doing things, Change Delivery could be for you. You'll help shape and deliver improvements that make a real difference for our customers and colleagues. Whether that's bringing people together, analysing information, improving processes or using technology to solve business challenges, you'll play a key role in driving change across Aviva.
You don't need to be a technology expert, just someone who enjoys learning, seeing the bigger picture and turning ideas into action.
Whatever path you choose, you'll work on live projects, learn from experienced colleagues and help deliver even better experiences for millions of customers.
“Everyone I’ve worked with at Aviva has been incredibly supportive and welcoming. There’s a real emphasis on learning and development, which makes it a great place to start your career. I’ve been able to develop both my technical knowledge and my confidence in working with a wide range of people across the business.”

The roles
Our Business Analyst roles are based in Bristol, Norwich, York. You may need to be flexible on location and willing to relocate if needed. We believe some of the best collaboration, learning, and relationship building happens when people come together in-person. That's why our colleagues spend around 50% or more of their working time in the office. We call this Smart Working. For most colleagues, that means spending around three days a week in the office and the rest working from home, although this varies by role and team.
Business Analyst (Norwich)- you’ll help uncover what customers really need and work with teams to deliver practical solutions. You’ll ask insightful questions and challenge assumptions to identify opportunities for improvement. Whether that’s analysing data, solving problems, maximising opportunities, removing blockers, or shaping smarter ways of working, you’ll play a key role in helping us do things better: for our customers, our business, and your own development.
The company
We help millions of customers across the UK, Ireland and Canada protect what matters most to them and plan for their future. Whether it's supporting someone after an accident, helping families feel financially secure, or finding better ways to prepare for tomorrow, our work has a real impact on people's lives.
But we're not just here to solve today's challenges. We’re also investing in technology, data and AI to transform the way we work and deliver even better experiences for our customers.
For you, that means the opportunity to be part of a business that's constantly evolving, bringing fresh ideas to life and making a real difference to millions of people every day.
The Early Careers Development Programme
From day one, you'll become part of a community of graduates and apprentices from across the business. During your first two years with us, alongside your day job, you'll take part in our Early Careers Development Programme.
Designed to complement your on-the-job learning, it combines structured development, networking and hands-on experiences to help you broaden your perspective and connect with people from across the business.
You'll learn alongside other graduates and apprentices, gain exposure to senior leaders and develop a broader understanding of the business.
