What could I be involved in as a Finance fast streamer?
Working in some of the most fascinating government environments, you’ll help ensure finance is at the heart of decision-making. While you gain practical experience across different aspects of finance, like management accounting, financial systems and business partnering, you’ll enable the delivery of high-quality public services. And, helping to deliver value for public money, you’ll make an impact on some of the most important issues facing the UK.
Training includes
Developing a broad range of skills through placements in different departments, you’ll also work to gain a professional accountancy qualification. This will involve passing up to 16 exams. As well as on-the-job learning, the scheme offers a range of development opportunities, including access to the Government Finance Academy training, events and resources.
