What could I be involved in as an Operational Delivery fast streamer?
On this scheme you’ll gain leadership skills in the largest profession in the Civil Service. You’ll learn to lead through others, to help turn government strategy, policies and plans into reality. Working across different government departments such as the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Defence, the Department for Work and Pensions, the Home Office or HM Revenue and Customs, you’ll build experience in a variety of challenging roles. You’ll gain people and performance management experience leading teams delivering essential public services. And you’ll help transform people’s lives for the better.
Training includes
Our Fast Stream core training will enable you to develop a range of practical and leadership skills. Operational Delivery-specific training includes working to gain a Chartered Management Institute Level 6 in Leadership and Management qualification, a Policy to Delivery course supported by the Policy Profession and a specialist Executive Leadership course in Year 3. As well as on-the-job learning, mentoring and extra-curricular activity will enhance your development.
