You will be involved in delivering the next generation emergency service network, providing fast, safe and secure voice, video and data across the 4G network, giving first responders immediate access to life-saving data, images and information in live situations and emergencies on the frontline.
About the role
We are seeking a versatile Software Developer to design, develop, and deliver robust software solutions that power mission-critical communications systems. You will join a collaborative agile team focused on ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability across diverse environments.
What you’ll do
Your contributions will include full-cycle development covering analysis, design, implementation, testing, and integration and you’ll help shape the future of life-saving communications technologies.
- Work as part of a development team using Agile methodology, taking part in stand-ups, sprints and retrospectives
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet user requirements and business goals
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable C# code for a WPF platform
- Participate in peer reviews and ensure adherence to high coding standards and best practices
Required experience
Zetron is currently recruiting for Junior and Mid-Level developers. We will consider recent Graduates for the Junior positions.
- Good skills in C#/.NET development and familiarity with WPF as a target platform
- Experience within an Agile/Scrum environment (highly advantageous)
- Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell (advantageous, but not essential)
- Highly motivated and keen to contribute to Zetron’s successful culture and become invested in the future success of the company
- Able to work hybrid, onsite in Hull at least 2–3 days per week
- Eligible for UK SC Security Clearance
