What does this team do?
Audit matters to everyone, even if you've never heard the word before. When a company shares its financial results, people need to know those numbers are accurate. That's where audit comes in. We check company financial reports independently, so the public, investors and businesses can trust what they're seeing. It's a job that protects people, and it genuinely makes a difference.
Delivery of our audit work increasingly relies on the understanding of large datasets, complex models, and the reporting produced from them. Our Technology & Data team empowers our Audit & Assurance teams by providing the expertise to analyse, interpret and validate the data and models we receive from the businesses we audit.
This enhances audit quality and efficiency across all industries and systems, transforming the future of audit.
What skills and academic qualifications do I need?
You’ll need to have obtained or be studying towards a minimum 2:1 in any degree discipline and have graduated by September 2027 for the Autumn 2027 intake. What kind of work will I do?
Upon joining, you will receive comprehensive training designed to equip you with the skills necessary to tackle complex challenges for our diverse client portfolio.

Where will I work?
At Deloitte we recognise how important face-to-face interaction is for your development in a new role. We also understand that our people need flexibility, which is why we operate a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working. If you’re in a client-facing role, you might be expected to attend client sites on certain days, while your meetings will be a mix of online and in-person events. Please note your final assessment and induction will also be in-person, to give you the opportunity to network and build relationships.

Professional Qualifications
As part of your graduate opportunity, you will be required to study towards the globally recognised Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB) qualification. This will significantly expand your knowledge and expertise, giving you the confidence to excel in our audit practice.
Whilst professional exams can be challenging, and will require a commitment from you, we in turn commit to providing you with the right support network to help you succeed. You will be given funded top-quality tuition, with a mix of classroom and self-managed learning sessions, a dedicated early careers coach, a People Leader and access to support from our professional education team.
The qualification consists of six multiple-choice exams, you will be entitled to a maximum of two attempts at each exam. We will cover the cost of all mandated courses, permitted exam attempts and membership fees required for your Professional Qualification. We will also provide a specified amount of paid study leave to undertake the exams required.
