What does this team do?
Our valuation specialists provide clarity on complex valuation questions and deliver industry insights to support critical decision-making. We work with a broad range of clients (both corporate and public sector) and financiers to advise on a wide range of issues, including transactions, reorganisations, financial planning, investment cases, cash flow forecasting, cost transformations, regulatory matters and financial reporting.
What skills and academic qualifications do I need?
You’ll need to have obtained or be studying towards a minimum 2:1 in any degree discipline and have graduated by September 2027 for the Autumn 2027 intake. What kind of work will I do?
Within the valuations team, we thoroughly examine various factors like past performance, future expectations, market conditions, management plans, and industry trends. We then provide robust analysis, often questioning management's assumptions, all backed by our deep commercial and industry knowledge. This helps our clients clearly see the true value, understand what drives it, and identify any risks, allowing them to make balanced decisions about price.
Where will I work?
At Deloitte we recognise how important face-to-face interaction is for your development in a new role. We also understand that our people need flexibility, which is why we operate a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working. If you’re in a client-facing role, you might be expected to attend client sites on certain days, while your meetings will be a mix of online and in-person events. Please note your final assessment and induction will also be in-person, to give you the opportunity to network and build relationships.

How will I develop?
As a graduate within Business Valuations, you will complete the CFAB qualification, followed by the CFA.
You'll begin with a comprehensive induction programme, equipping you with the skills and confidence to work with our clients. Ongoing professional development will be provided through your project team, mentoring, and a dedicated buddy.
