Shape the future of public infrastructure.

Programme overview

On the Strategy Graduate Programme, you’ll shape the future with confidence by helping corporate clients and private equity firms make better strategic decisions and unlock growth opportunities. You’ll work in high-performing teams on high-profile strategy and due diligence projects, using data-driven insights to solve complex business challenges. As a Shaper of the future, you’ll build future-focused consulting skills while making a real impact for clients and developing as a future business leader.

Core skills for success

  • Problem solving — Use structured thinking and analytical frameworks to break down complex business challenges into clear, actionable insights.
  • Analytical thinking — Use a range of analytical tools, including hypothesis trees, modelling of large data sets, insights from primary research, technology and professional judgement, to deliver insights others can rely on.
  • Confidence in ambiguity — Be comfortable making sound decisions with limited information and learning fast.
  • Inclusive collaboration — Thrive in inclusive teams where every voice and perspective strengthens outcomes.
  • Digital fluency — Use tools and automation to work smarter and focus on higher‑value work.

What you will be doing

  • Work on a variety of high-impact projects – no two engagements are the same. You’ll help solve unique strategic challenges for clients, from evaluating investment opportunities to shaping growth strategies.
  • Turn data into meaningful insights – conduct independent research, analyse market and expert data, and develop clear, compelling recommendations that influence client decisions.
  • Learn through collaboration – work closely with experienced colleagues to solve complex problems, develop strategic thinking, and grow through our apprenticeship-style learning model.
  • Build your network and confidence – gain exposure to senior clients and stakeholders, strengthen your communication skills, and enjoy a collaborative team culture through social events, team dinners, and travel opportunities.

The Strategy Graduate Programme will close for applications on Thursday 22 October 2026. Please apply as early as possible to start shaping your future with EY-Parthenon.

Eligibility for applying

You will need to be working towards an honours degree in any subject, have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, or in your home language if you do not hold English Language GCSE, and three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent) to be eligible to apply.

While we welcome applications from candidates of all academic backgrounds, we are looking to recruit individuals who will succeed at EY in the role and future qualifications. We have completed several studies on academic attainment at A-level (or equivalents), candidate performance in the online assessments in the EY recruitment process, and how that predicts future performance at EY.

Throughout the recruitment process, we therefore assess your suitability for the EY role you have applied to by considering your scores in the online assessments and your academic attainment at A-level or equivalent. This approach is designed to ensure our joiners are successful in role and, where relevant, in the achievement of their professional qualifications. It is important to EY, and we have a duty of care which we take very seriously, to ensure our joiners are set up for long-term success.

We are also proud to partner with RARE recruitment, so that your application can be processed in the context of your socio-economic background. This allows us to give you the maximum credit for your achievements, assessing whether you have overachieved in light of your personal circumstances.
