We are currently seeking a talented Predictive Maintenance Engineer in the Manchester-Leeds region to join our team.

Your role

As a Predictive Maintenance Engineer, your mission will be to detect machine failures at an early stage, enabling our clients to take corrective actions in time. You’ll play a key role in improving client productivity, reducing downtime, and minimizing the environmental impact.

Job responsibilities

  • Conduct planned vibration measurements and inspections on client machinery.
  • Work on various client sites across the UK, monitoring rotating equipment such as gas and steam turbines, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, electric motors, fans, and other machinery.
  • Utilize various analytical techniques and technologies, such as vibration analysis (manual, online, wireless), thermal imaging, and oil analysis, to detect and investigate machine failures.
  • Follow a tailored training program, combining theoretical and practical on-the-job learning based on your current experience and technical knowledge.
  • With the guidance of our trainers and senior engineers, progress from a supporting role to a more independent and responsible role, eventually becoming an expert in Condition Monitoring.

Who are you?

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field such as Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Process Technology, or a related discipline.
  • No prior experience is required, but a genuine interest in predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and reliability engineering is essential.
  • A strong desire to learn and collaborate with like-minded colleagues to share knowledge and experiences.
  • A problem-solving mindset, with a passion for identifying solutions and improvements.
