What is Accounting Advisory and Assurance at KPMG?
If you’re curious about how businesses tackle big challenges, navigate change and build trust, this could be the place for you. Our Accounting Advisory and Assurance teams help organisations make sense of complex issues, prepare for major moments and give people confidence in the information they share. Depending on the team you join, you could support a major transaction, review business controls or explore sustainability reporting.
Accounting Advisory and Assurance Graduate Programme
You'll join us in one of the following four areas:
Accounting Advisory Services, where you’ll help businesses keep up with changing accounting standards, turning complex issues into clear, practical advice. Sustainability Assurance, where you’ll help businesses to meet the requirements of rapidly changing regulatory standards that could include; greenhouse gas emissions, waste, human rights, diversity and other information organisations share beyond their financial results.
In Controls Assurance, you’ll help clients spot risks in their business processes and build customer confidence. You could review areas such as system access, data security, cyber resilience, investment management or payroll across a range of industries.
And finally, in Transactions Assurance, you’ll support businesses through major moments, from mergers and acquisitions to listing on a public stock exchange.
Training and benefits
On this programme, you’ll study towards the ACA professional qualification or CA equivalent in Scotland. These qualifications are fully funded by KPMG and are supported by an extensive programme of internal training spanning both personal and professional development.
