What Does a Commercial Banking Intern Learn?
On this summer internship, you’ll spend 10 weeks learning how we help our clients to succeed at home and across the globe.
As part of our diverse teams, you’ll be given tasks that stretch your knowledge and grow your skills. You’ll be given recognition and credit for your work. You’ll also start to build a supportive network of peers and colleagues who are as passionate about learning and improving as you are. By the end of your internship, we hope you’ll see the value you bring to our Group and have ideas for how you’d like to make an impact, after you graduate.
On A Summer Internship, You Could Be…
- Working on deals within a team of experts and finding ways to ensure we’re supporting our clients
- Analysing our client information and presenting your findings to senior colleagues
- Discovering the breadth of our client product offering, including FX trading, payments and issuing bonds
- Learning about industry regulations and how we work within them
- Collaborating with peers to organise community fundraising challenges
