As a Junior Project Controller based in Bristol, you’ll work alongside experienced consultants and client teams, gaining hands-on experience while receiving structured training, mentoring and ongoing professional development.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with project planning and scheduling activities.
- Monitoring project performance against key milestones and deadlines.
- Producing project reports, dashboards and performance metrics.
- Supporting project governance, meetings and reporting cycles.
- Tracking project risks, issues, actions and dependencies.
- Maintaining project documentation and ensuring data accuracy.
- Analysing project data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Working closely with Project Managers, PMOs and client stakeholders to keep projects on track.
Skills, knowledge and expertise
- A degree, apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, or experience in Project Coordination, PMO, Planning, Engineering, Business or a similar role.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Confidence using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or Power BI is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
