12-month Regional Regulatory Operations student placement offering hands-on experience in regulatory planning, cross-functional collaboration, and submissions management across global markets

As part of the Regional Regulatory Operations team, you will work as a Regional Planner on a one-year student placement, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, globally connected environment. You will support regulatory planning activities across diverse markets by coordinating timelines, maintaining accurate plans and helping teams deliver in line with regulatory requirements. This role will be based in our modern state-of-the-art co-working facilities in Moorgate, London. This site, at the heart of London provides fantastic amenities, support services and collaborative workspaces with convenient transport links. This is a hybrid position wherein the team assembles at the office once weekly, while working remotely for the remainder of the week, with the possibility of adjustments based on business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation, tracking, and maintenance of regulatory submission plans and milestones across multiple markets, ensuring timely updates and risk escalation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, align timelines, and build strong communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
  • Assist in preparing reports and dashboards to support planning activities, while contributing to process improvement initiatives within the regional function.
  • Develop a foundational understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, Regulatory Operations, and the organisation’s products and disease areas through hands-on experience.
  • Engage in stretch assignments and cross-functional projects to enhance personal development, build confidence, and expand professional networks.

Requirements

  • You must be currently studying at a UK university and will be looking to complete a 12-month student internship as part of your undergraduate degree.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities across diverse teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in healthcare sciences and a keen interest in regulatory affairs, regulatory operations, and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
