Are you an aspiring journalist or editor looking to build your career in digital publishing?
Pavilion Publishing & Media is seeking a Junior Editor to join our editorial team, supporting two leading websites serving the health and social care sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career journalist with a passion for healthcare, disability issues, and creating engaging digital content.
What you’ll be doing
- Writing, editing and publishing content for our websites and digital magazines
- Researching stories and interviewing industry experts
- Creating multimedia and social media content
- Building relationships with key contacts across the care and health sectors
- Using analytics and SEO best practices to maximise audience engagement
- Supporting webinars, events and editorial projects
We’re looking for someone who
- Has a genuine interest in healthcare, disability or social care issues
- Has experience in journalism, content creation or writing for different audiences
- Holds (or is studying towards) a degree in Journalism, Psychology, Politics, Law, Social Care, or a related subject
- Can turn complex information into clear, engaging content
- Has excellent attention to detail and strong digital skills
