About the role
As an Intern you will spend time in the front office business working with full-time Quantitative Strat Analysts. You will gain valuable exposure to our operations as well as hands-on experience, learn our bread and butter concepts portfolio risk management, markets and quantitative financial engineering, and get stuck in with our technology and code.
Learning from experience
During the course of the programme, Summer Interns are given various projects to complete which may include:
- Building and adapting quantitative models for pricing and risk management.
- Shadowing team members to understand how various products and roles work together to drive revenues.
- Applying and learning new technologies and methodologies to work on actual business problems and deliver useful trading tools.
Training and Development
You will be supported throughout the programme including:
- On the job training
- Buddy programme
- Networking and shadowing opportunities
You will receive mid and end-of-placement reviews as well as constructive feedback from your business manager throughout your placement.
Job Summary
We are offering an internship in the front office quantitative analytics group in RBC Capital Markets. The team applies financial theory, econometrics and economics via a range of mathematical and computational techniques to support our businesses from end to end.
