What you'll be doing
As a Trainee within the Listed Derivatives Reconciliations team, you will support the daily operational processes that help ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and records.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing daily reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.
- Supporting the monitoring of brokerage fees, invoices, cash receipts and payments.
- Assisting with the preparation and review of operational and management reports.
- Liaising with internal teams and external counterparties to resolve issues and queries.
- Monitoring client-related adjustments and ensuring records remain accurate.
- Supporting monthly reporting and dashboard production.
- Managing and responding to enquiries received through the team mailbox.
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives and operational projects.
- Developing an understanding of operational risk, controls and regulatory requirements.

- Previous internship, placement year or work experience in financial services, finance, accounting, operations or administration.
- Knowledge of financial markets or derivatives products.
- Experience working with reconciliations, reporting or data analysis.
