To apply for our undergraduate placement scheme, you must be studying for an undergraduate degree that requires a placement year. Master’s students are not eligible for this placement.

We’re looking for an undergraduate to join our Fleet Sales and Marketing team as a Business Sales and Customer Success Placement. You will contribute to a fast-paced business-to-business sales environment and develop invaluable skills in reporting, market analysis, collaboration, and communication. If you're eager to kick-start your career, possess a good understanding of customer service and commercial sales, and have a genuine passion for the field, we want to hear from you!

What will you be doing?

  • Raise quotations and rate books to support vehicle sales to business customers.
  • Handle broker, retailer and customer queries through Salesforce and maintain the Central Sales inbox.
  • Produce reporting and sales insight, sharing updates on quote requests, inbound leads and top-selling products.
  • Carry out market and competitor analysis while building relationships with customers, brokers, retailers, brands and internal teams.

What are we looking for?

  • Currently studying a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or another relevant field
  • Strong numerical and Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to produce accurate work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Self -motivated, with excellent organisational skills and ability to use own initiative
  • A proactive and flexible approach with the ability to react appropriately and effectively to changing circumstances and demands
  • Ability to work both independently and effectively within a team
  • Commercially curious, confident suggesting improvements and able to manage multiple tasks to deadlines.

What our recruitment process looks like

  • Apply and upload your CV, covering letter and answer a few application questions.
  • You’ll be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to help us understand how you may approach situations.
  • If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
  • If successful, your last step in the journey is to attend an in-person Assessment Centre at our Milton Keynes office. You’ll also meet some of our managers and our current undergraduates to find out more about a placement year with us.

Please note: Our undergraduate placement roles do not meet the UKVI’s criteria for the skilled worker sponsorship route, therefore we are unable to accept candidates requiring sponsorship for this role.
