Are you interested in digital journeys, eCommerce and product development? We’re looking for an undergraduate to join our Customer & Product Transformation team as a Digital Channel Development Undergraduate. You’ll support Channel Managers, Product Owners and Product Integration Managers to launch and improve products, using research, data and collaboration to help enhance Volkswagen Financial Services’ digital points of sale.

What will you be doing?

  • Work closely with Channel Managers, using research and data to identify trends, successes and opportunities across eCommerce journeys.
  • Suggest improvements to eCommerce journeys that could benefit the customer journey or VWFS performance.
  • Use reporting suites to extract insights that help Product Owners make strategic decisions and support business cases for future products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insight, address customer pain points and drive continuous improvement across digital points of sale.
  • Monitor customer feedback and journey performance metrics to evaluate digital improvements and identify ways to enhance the customer experience.
  • Manage team governance activity, including preparing meeting agendas, documenting decisions, tracking actions and monitoring progress against objectives.

What are we looking for?

  • Working towards a degree in Business Management, IT/Technology, Marketing or a similar field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with a technical mindset desirable but not required.
  • Strong analytical, data analysis and problem-solving skills with a logical approach.
  • Ability to handle and analyse large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence communicating with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Independent, proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work across multiple workstreams where direct instructions may be limited.
  • Adaptability, critical thinking, time management and strong attention to detail.

What our recruitment process looks like

  • Apply and upload your CV, covering letter and answer a few application questions.
  • You’ll be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to help us understand how you may approach situations.
  • If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
  • If successful, your last step in the journey is to attend an in-person Assessment Centre at our Milton Keynes office. You’ll also meet some of our managers and our current undergraduates to find out more about a placement year with us.

Please note: Our undergraduate placement roles do not meet the UKVI’s criteria for the skilled worker sponsorship route, therefore we are unable to accept candidates requiring sponsorship for this role.
