- Hybrid working: We want you to get the best out of your placement, so we operate a hybrid policy where undergraduates work in the office 3 days per week. There may be times where you will need to be in more frequently depending on the needs of the business.

We’re looking for an undergraduate to join our Controlling team as a Pricing and Planning Methods Undergraduate. You will have the chance to support key regulatory, pricing and planning projects, working cross-functionally to understand business requirements and help deliver accurate solutions. If you’re eager to kick-start your career, possess a good understanding of pricing, planning, data analysis, finance and business change, and have a genuine passion for the field, we want to hear from you!
What will you be doing?
- Support projects including Dealer Commissions, Used Car Profitability Analysis and Point of Sale replacement.
- Support the Controlling team with the annual planning process and key project activity.
- Develop pricing models to show the impact between different pricing methods.
- Develop reporting capability using Business Objects and understand data within the profit cube universe.
- Support ad hoc reporting and analysis for the General Manager and Head of Controlling.
- Work with Legal, Compliance, IT, Operations and senior stakeholders on regulatory and system-related activity.
What are we looking for?
- Currently studying a maths, economics, business or related degree that requires a placement year.
- Highly numerate, with proven mathematical skills and ability to interpret the story behind the numbers.
- Good Excel knowledge and willingness to learn other data reporting programmes.
- Interest in finance or business analysis.
- Methodical and disciplined approach with ability to organise workload to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, inquisitive mindset and confidence challenging report outputs.
- Motivated by new challenges, willing to take ownership and actively look for process improvements.

What our recruitment process looks like
- Apply and upload your CV, covering letter and answer a few application questions.
- You’ll be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to help us understand how you may approach situations.
- If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
- If successful, your last step in the journey is to attend an in-person Assessment Centre at our Milton Keynes office. You’ll also meet some of our managers and our current undergraduates to find out more about a placement year with us.
Please note: Our undergraduate placement roles do not meet the UKVI’s criteria for the skilled worker sponsorship route, therefore we are unable to accept candidates requiring sponsorship for this role.
