Willmott Dixon are currently recruiting for a Site Manager year out student to join our Midlands team for 12 months commencing August/September 2027. This opportunity will suit those studying a Construction Management, Site Management or Construction Project Management degree commencing their 2nd year of university and seeking a year out or industry placement. This is for a project based in Warwick.

With schemes ranging from £10m to over £200m, you’ll have the opportunity to gain experience with our site teams as we progress through the different stages of project delivery.

The placement

As a year out student there will be a structured training programme for you to follow, and a mentor will be allocated to assist with your progress through this.

This allows you to earn, learn and develop your career simultaneously, whilst gaining valuable industry experience and working towards your qualification.

Essential criteria

  • Currently studying a Degree in Construction Management, Site Management or Construction Project Management.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Have a valid driver’s license.
  • Seeking a year-out or industry placement as part of your university course.

Desirable criteria

  • You have had some exposure to construction (work experience, placement or similar).
