All applications are managed online.

CV Application

Our top tips

  • Tailor your application to the role you’re applying to.
  • Use Google, LinkedIn and the Experian Website to research ahead of an application.
  • Format, grammar and layout are important. Take the time to build a strong CV fit for the role you're applying to.
  • Show passion for the opportunity you’re applying for. If you can’t convey this consider whether you’re applying for the right role.
  • We know AI tools can be used to help generate CVs, but ensure to only use AI for support with the structure of the CV, not the content. Often the content generated by Chat GPT can be ‘buzz word’ heavy and doesn’t read as very authentic, so ensure to make sure the content is all your own!
  • Utilise your Employability team. Many Colleges and Universities have a dedicated team to help you with applications. Use them!

Online Assessment

As part of our application process, you’ll be invited to complete an online assessment. These assessments are designed to help us get to know you better—your strengths, your thinking style, and how you approach different types of challenges.

They’re a great opportunity to showcase your abilities beyond your CV. You will have the opportunity to complete a practice test before starting your main assessment.

Video Interview

Video Interviews play an important role and helps us get to know you on a more personal and professional level.

You’ll be asked a series of short questions with a set time limit to respond to these.

Our top tips

  • Ensure you're in a distraction free, quiet environment.
  • Avoid using ChatGPT or other AI tools to generate interview question answers. These often come across as very scripted and not very genuine.
  • Try to not to sit behind a window, this will create bad downward lighting. Instead, use a lamp or face a window where natural light will work to your advantage.
  • Check that your laptop, camera, and microphone are working. The video interview platform will usually allow you to check this before you begin recording.
