This event is your opportunity to hear directly from Product Managers at Capital One, who are responsible for creating visions and strategies that improve customer experiences and help to disrupt the consumer credit market. You’ll meet with a senior business leader and past Product Manager graduates on the key skills and knowledge needed to prepare you for a future career as a Product Manager with Capital One.

What can I expect on the day?
The event will take place in Capital One's Nottingham office on the 18th November and run from 12pm to 6pm:
- Welcome & Introduction - Get an introduction into Capital One and explore the Product Manager role with a Product Manager Director
- Meet the Product Managers - Attend a panel and open Q&A with current Product Managers to learn more about their day-to-day and development
- Skills Session - Build the skills you need to tackle real business challenges with the Product Management team
- Pizza and networking - Enjoy chatting with other attendees and the Capital One team
Who can attend?
Students graduating in 2026 or 2027. We don’t mind what degree background you have, what matters is how your mind works and your interest within digital Product Management.
We’d love to hear from you if you’ve taken on leadership positions within teams, societies or extra curricular activities and have been able to build your commercial awareness.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a passionate communicator, able to influence others and has an appreciation for effective stakeholder management skills
- Has the curiosity to learn and is proactive in your way of working. Can take ownership of your work and development.
- Is keen to solve problems and explore how you can do that through technology and user design. With a keen interest in what it takes to develop products and launch them into the market.
- Has a passion for learning new tools and technologies, as you’ll be working across multiple business areas.
