Leading financial services firm, Macquarie, are inviting 50 bright members to their London office this summer for a unique insight event. This is a fantastic opportunity to discover what an internship at this top employer would be like, boost your application skills (including how to master those tricky psychometric tests) and get fast-tracked to the video interview stage for their popular internship programmes.

Join us on 11th August for an all-new Macquarie Diversity Academy, designed to provide an opportunity for students from under-represented backgrounds to gain the skills, connections and core knowledge needed to succeed in the financial services sector and beyond.

10:00 - 10:45am: Introduction to Macquarie

10:45 - 11:15am: Keynote talk from Macquarie's Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

11:15 - 11:30am: Break

11:30am - 12:45pm: Panel with graduates working in Macquarie's five main business areas (Coporate Operations, Commodities and Global Markets, Asset Management, Capital and Risk Management)

12:45 - 1:45pm: Lunch (provided) and networking

1:45 - 3:15pm: Application process, CV and psychometric assessments workshop

3:15 - 3:30pm: Break

3:30 - 4:30pm: Commercial awareness insight session

4:30 - 5:00pm: Wrap up, next steps and Q&A


Who can attend?

  • Undergraduate students studying at a UK university and graduating in 2024

  • Identify with diverse backgrounds (not exclusively but including Black Heritage members, female members, free school meals recipients, state school attendees and undergraduates who are the first generation in their family to go to university)

  • Interested in an internship at Macquarie

  • All degree backgrounds welcome

Please note that Macquarie will be able to support with travel costs as the event is taking place in person.
