Accenture Strategy is not just consulting – it’s where ideas that reshape industries are born. We partner with C-suites of the world’s most influential companies to tackle their most complex challenges: reinventing supply chains, designing AI-first business models, shaping sustainability agendas, and building resilient organisations.

As a Strategy Analyst, you’ll join the Strategy arm of one of the world’s most respected firms. Our Analysts are not just delivery consultants: they are problem solvers who use hypothesis-driven thinking to design and guide business transformations, working on issues that matter at the highest levels. You’ll help global leaders make the bold choices that move entire industries forward.

Life as a Strategy Analyst

You'll be the architects of change - defining what success looks like before it’s implemented. You will help clients frame the questions, structure the hypotheses, and shape the transformation roadmap.

No two projects – or days – will ever be the same. One week you could be mapping the impact of new regulation on global supply chains; the next, reimagining a client’s operating model for the AI era. You will:

  • Shape big decisions: Use creative and analytical thinking to frame the questions that matter to CEOs and boards.
  • Dig into data and research: Analyse industries, markets and business models to uncover insights that drive change.
  • Create clarity: Turn complex ideas into clear, visual, and actionable recommendations.
  • Work at pace: Move between projects across industries and functions, each giving you new perspectives and challenges.

What you’ll learn

We know Strategy is a craft - so we invest heavily to make you one of the best. We see your first years with us as an investment in your long-term career – equipping you with skills that stay valuable for life. From day one, you’ll get:

  • Core analyst training: Build confidence in client engagement, delivery, and problem structuring.
  • Project-based learning: Solve real challenges for real clients, guided by experienced teams.
  • Technology exposure: Understand how leading-edge technology is shaping the future of strategy, and how to turn that into business advantage.
  • Certifications and courses: Gain industry-recognised qualifications, powered by Accenture’s $1bn+ investment in continuous learning each year.

As you progress, you’ll shape a unique trajectory:

  • Develop a specialisation – whether in industry strategy (e.g. banking, energy, consumer) or functional strategy (e.g. supply chain, growth, organisation design).
  • Build marketable, future-proof skills – from C-suite communication and financial modelling to design thinking and complex programme delivery.

What you'll need

We’re looking for curiosity, creativity, and critical thinkers — not one “type” of graduate. You’ll need to have obtained (or be on track to obtain) a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university by your start date.

  • Any degree background is welcome: we want economists and engineers - but also historians, linguists, scientists, and designers who can challenge perspectives and bring fresh ideas. We also accept applications from holders of higher degrees.
  • Strong communication and leadership potential - comfortable presenting to an audience or engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive mindset in fast-changing environments.
  • Commercial awareness: able to make sense of business, economics, and technology trends.
  • Analytical comfort: quantitative reasoning, pattern recognition, and data storytelling.
  • Bonus: Excel, PowerBI, Tableau or other data tools.

Accenture values collaboration, bringing people together at least three times a week at client sites or one of our UK offices. You will be required to be in your assigned office for a minimum of three days per week and must live within commuting distance to make this possible. Project work may also take you to client sites across the UK, sometimes more than three days a week, depending on business needs.

Your development path

Your journey is uniquely yours — but here’s what it can look like:

  • Year 1: Work across diverse projects to discover your strengths and interests.
  • Year 2+: Start aligning to a specialism (industry or functional area) and start taking ownership of workstreams.
  • Beyond: Grow into a subject matter expert, people leader, or carve out a path into global client leadership.

To bring this to life, here are some real examples from recent Strategy Graduates:

  • Merissa joined in 2023 and is now leading AI in Banking and M&A initiatives for global financial institutions. She also helped launch the Capital Markets Strategy team and founded an Innovation Studio to showcase analyst-led ideas across the UKI.
  • Tom joined in 2023 and is now leading strategy and design to help his client comply with European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), partnering with tech architects to design an end-to-end solution.
  • Shahana joined in 2023 and is now driving C-level operating model transformations across Supply Chain, Marketing, HR, and other functional areas.
  • Alex joined in 2022 and now runs commercial/financial modelling initiatives in growth strategy for major energy clients.

Where you take your career after the programme is up to you - and we’ll be right there to help you make it happen.
