Our graduate programme has a track-record of developing a pipeline of the right people, with the right skills in the right places.

It’s the perfect platform for you to grow in your career. You’ll be given the opportunities and support you need to develop yourself with the right skills for your own development, and Admiral’s future growth.

You might not know what direction you want your career to take yet, which is why we offer you the freedom to explore. You will undertake four six-month placements over two years, in areas of the business aligned to your interests and business demand. If you perform well, you will exit the programme into a fixed role in one of our strategy or growth areas.

Upon starting, you’ll be part of our emerging talent pool – meaning you’ll progress through the programme with a cohort of other talented people with a variety of experiences and backgrounds. You’ll have an opportunity to learn from each other and build a strong network across the business.

If you don't have a degree, please apply for this stream instead. If you do have a degree, please continue on this page.

    What can you expect?

    • The programme is rotational, meaning you will immerse yourself in four different departments at Admiral, each for 6 months at a time
    • You will be empowered to drive your own career, development, and personal growth.
    • Previous departments explored by colleagues have included: Product, Digital, IT, Automation, Claims, Underwriting, Marketing and Risk amongst others
    • To drive your own performance and learning – you’ll receive support, but the programme is challenging, and you’ll be expected to champion your own development
    • You could be placed in any area of our business, so it is important to keep an open mind
    • Day-to-day your responsibilities will vary, depending on where you are placed at the time

    What are we looking for?

    • Students or graduates of any degree type. (If you're a STEM graduate, please note our Data/Analyst Graduate Programme will be going live shortly).
    • Self-starters with a can-do attitude
    • Excellent people and communication skills
    • You to be bold, open to change and to challenge the way things are done. Just because something is done a certain way, doesn’t mean it’s the best way.
    • Personal drive and enthusiasm, with a passion for challenging yourself and developing new skills
    • The readiness to learn about a new area from the bottom up
    • Someone who’s comfortable dealing with data and numbers
