What you will do

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) Intern you'll be part of the team that helps Adobe connect with customers at the start of their buying journey. You will be the first point of contact for people interested in our products - guiding them, asking smart questions, and helping them figure out what they need. You'll qualify these opportunities ready to be passed over to our Field Sales Executives. This includes target market penetration, calling on senior-level executives, following up on marketing-generated leads, webinar and event follow-up, and more.

  • Begin with shadowing your mentor, progress to practicing through role plays and guided activities, and eventually take on more responsibility by contacting customers and leading conversations yourself.
  • Start conversations with people who’ve shown interest in Adobe—through events, webinars, or marketing campaigns.
  • Reach out to decision-makers (yes, even senior execs!) and help them understand how Adobe’s tools—like Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, and Marketing Cloud—can support their goals.
  • Spot opportunities and pass them on to our sales team so they can take things further.
  • Work closely with teammates across sales, marketing, and operations to keep things moving and make sure everyone’s in the loop.
  • Hit your goals for generating leads and building pipeline—don’t worry, we’ll support you every step of the way.
  • Grow your skills in communication, teamwork, and business—while staying true to Adobe’s values and inclusive culture. This includes participating in structured training sessions, practicing through real-world role plays, and developing both sales-specific and professional skills that will set you up for long-term success.

What you need to succeed

We’re not looking for perfection—we’re looking for potential. If you’re curious, motivated, and ready to learn, you’re already off to a great start.

  • You’re comfortable working towards goals and enjoy seeing results.
  • You’ve shown drive—whether that’s through university projects, part-time work, volunteering, or anything where you’ve gone above and beyond.
  • You’re a confident communicator and can write clearly and professionally.
  • You’re organised, detail-oriented, and a good listener.
  • You’re tech-savvy and keen to learn how digital tools can solve real-world problems.
