About the Team

As part of a diverse multinational Finance team, an Intern will be in an outstanding position to “network” through exposure to the team’s experience and connections. Some project work will be involved. You will be guided by qualified accountants and finance professionals and will gain an insight into how a fast-paced work environment operates.

What You’ll Do

  • All aspects of a statutory close (Both Monthly & Quarterly)
  • Work in SAP, Blackline and other ERP tools.
  • Be encouraged to work within a large team and on individual tasks.
  • Work with teams in different time zones and geographical locations.
  • Work on exciting and relevant projects within the overall group.
  • Gain an understanding of how Shared Service Teams operate.
  • For the accounting role, we expect knowledge of accounting principles & will favour strong “Debits” & “Credits” skills.

Interns will be assigned to one of the following teams based on interests, skills, and educational background:

  • Accounting
  • Risk Management
  • Revenue Operations

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Currently working towards an undergraduate degree program and in your penultimate year
  • Finance and accounting subjects are preferred
  • Able to commit to 12 weeks during summer of 2023
  • Attention to detail with good interpersonal skills.
  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented
  • “Can do” positive demeanour
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • A second language is a plus

What to Expect from the Recruitment Process

  • 15-minute telephone interview with one of our University Recruiters
  • A virtual assessment day (via MS Teams) with the hiring manager and team
