    What you will be doing

    You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be a Materials and Processes Engineer /Materials Specialist and can expect to be involved in the following:

    • Materials and Processes
    • Corrosion Protection principles
    • Sealants, paints and auxiliary materials
    • Surface treatments and coatings
    • Environmental Life Cycle Analysis
    • Fuel System Compatibility - BioFuels
    • Manufacturing Engineering
    • Customer Services
    • Design and modification of aerostructures
    • Digitalisation - automating processes using coding skills

    You will also develop the following:

    • Project Management through placements in Chief Engineers or other departments
    • Business and Financial knowledge
    • Leadership Skills through working on projects with a broad range of people, as well as specific training

    At the end of the 2 year development programme you will be fully equipped to be a key player as a Materials and Processes Engineer or Materials Specialist.

    What we look for

    To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have:

    • A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study: recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Chemistry, Materials Science or Engineering
    • Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)
    • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
    • The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
