What you will be doing
You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be a Materials and Processes Engineer /Materials Specialist and can expect to be involved in the following:
- Materials and Processes
- Corrosion Protection principles
- Sealants, paints and auxiliary materials
- Surface treatments and coatings
- Environmental Life Cycle Analysis
- Fuel System Compatibility - BioFuels
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Customer Services
- Design and modification of aerostructures
- Digitalisation - automating processes using coding skills
You will also develop the following:
- Project Management through placements in Chief Engineers or other departments
- Business and Financial knowledge
- Leadership Skills through working on projects with a broad range of people, as well as specific training
At the end of the 2 year development programme you will be fully equipped to be a key player as a Materials and Processes Engineer or Materials Specialist.
What we look for
To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have:
- A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study: recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Chemistry, Materials Science or Engineering
- Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)
- A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
- The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
