Whatever path you choose, you'll work on live projects, learn from experienced colleagues and help deliver even better experiences for millions of customers.

“I'd honestly say joining Aviva is one of the best career decisions I've made. The culture is fantastic, with a genuine focus on helping people grow and succeed. I love the autonomy we're given to take ownership of our work, explore new ideas and make a meaningful impact, while still having the support of a collaborative team around us. It’s also great to work for a company that embraces innovation and values inclusive teams.  ”

The roles

Our Data Science & Advanced Analytics roles are based in Bristol, Norwich, York. You may need to be flexible on location and willing to relocate if needed. We believe some of the best collaboration, learning, and relationship building happens when people come together in-person. That's why our colleagues spend around 50% or more of their working time in the office. We call this Smart Working. For most colleagues, that means spending around three days a week in the office and the rest working from home, although this varies by role and team.

Data Science & Advanced Analytics (Bristol, Norwich, York) - you'll turn data into insights that help shape important business decisions across Aviva. Working with teams such as Pricing, Underwriting and Product Governance, you'll use tools like Power BI and Qlik to uncover trends, understand risk and support better outcomes for our customers. You'll explore how emerging technologies, including AI, can help solve business challenges, improve decision-making and create smarter ways of working. If you're curious, analytical and enjoy solving problems, this could be the role for you.
