What you’ll be doing

  • Monitor IMT performance metrics and liaise with managers and customers to ensure that service level agreements are not breached without the stakeholders being given the opportunity of planning for a deterioration in service.
  • Problem solves and assists with the resolution of technical queries by interrogating data and documentation to identify process issues and where possible, provides solutions in support of continuous improvement.
  • Identifies operational problems and contributes to their resolution using standard procedures and tools to carry our system backups and data restoration.
  • Interacts effectively and confidently with the Customers, Managers and Suppliers as required.

Qualification requirements

As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant vocational degree.

Graduate Shared Services Cloud and Infrastructure Services 

The Shared Services Team

What you’ll be doing

  • Work with the team managing the Enterprise IT Services covering Networks, End User Compute, Collaboration, and Hosting services. 
  • Support the maintenance and compliance of Enterprise wide IT Services to meet security, requirements and controls. 
  • Manage and deliver change to IT Services to meet the required outcomes.
  • Work with the Cloud team to manage and develop services to meet the required Business outcomes.
  • Work as part of the infrastructure engineering team to support direct/indirect delivery of services to the business, building and managing IT systems and services.
  • Support the team in the exploitation of collaboration tools.

Qualification requirements

Graduate Submarines Design Engineer

The Submarines Team

Be a part of designing, building, testing, and commissioning the Astute and Dreadnought Class, the largest and most advanced submarines operated by the Royal Navy, providing a powerful and secure deterrent for the United Kingdom.

What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll be developing and designing throughout the Submarine lifecycle.
  • CAD modelling and drawing of all aspects of Submarine design including External and Internal Steelwork, Electrical Systems, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Mechanical Piping Systems, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
  • Working alongside colleagues, engineers, the customer, suppliers, and other areas of the business.
  • Working on one of our Designer on one of the current programmes within BAE Submarines (Astute, Dreadnought or SSNA).
  • Taking full ownership of planned deliverables and responsible for liaising with operations and other cross platform functions.

Qualification requirements

As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant STEM subject, including Mechanical, Structural Engineering or Product Design.

Graduate Submarines Computing and IT Engineer

Be a part of designing, building, testing, and commissioning the Astute and Dreadnought Class, the largest and most advanced submarines operated by the Royal Navy, providing a powerful and secure deterrent for the United Kingdom.

What you’ll be doing

  • Capturing and agreeing technical requirements in accordance with company and programme processes.
  • Compliant technical solutions against contractual requirements and regulations.
  • Designing documentation generated, captured, configured, and controlled in accordance with company processes.
  • Designing change requirements and documentation generated, captured, configured, and controlled in accordance with company processes.
  • Technical input to LCM deliverables and Design Reviews.

Qualification requirements

As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computing and/or IT, Software or closely related subject.
