Our finance graduate scheme placements will be within key finance areas of the business. After an initial induction, you will get the opportunity to go on 6 placements across the Group, in a variety of different businesses with exposure to both technical accounting as well as more commercially focussed finance roles.

The majority of your time will be spent in Hook, although there will be opportunities for placements in other locations. You need to be happy to travel but also work from home from time to time, as this is a hybrid role.

A senior mentor and a buddy will be provided to support you and make sure you get the most out of each rotation. We do expect you to make the most of these placements and maximise your experience. You will be part of a larger cohort of graduates in other business areas and this graduate community is a great source of insight and experience you can draw on.

What you’ll do

• You will assist in the production of timely and accurate financial reporting
• You will develop relationships within each of the different finance teams to aid professional development
• You will build technical knowledge to support local teams
• You will contribute to ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the Group consolidation
• You will develop proficiency in a variety of different finance systems used in key areas of the business
• You will maintain and improve financial reporting procedures

Who you are

• 2:1 degree or above, or predicted if graduating in 2023 – this does not need to be a finance degree
• A minimum of BBB at A-Level (or equivalent)
• Right to work in the UK, we are unable to sponsor on a skilled worker visa for this role and we cannot accept graduate visas
• Ambition to build a career in finance
• You will need to be driven, proactive in your approach and confident to collaborate
• Excellent attention to detail
• A strong communicator, both written and oral, who builds relationships with stakeholders and can influence others
