    We are looking for a Junior Mixed Reality Developer who will play a pivotal role in designing and developing our immersive and interactive mixed reality applications.

    The role

    Platform Innovation is a newly formed technology department at the forefront of innovation and research, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technological advancements. We are creating a dynamic and diverse team that drives our mission of creating ground-breaking advances in our field.

    You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement state-of-the-art mixed reality features, such as spatial mapping, gestures, and voice, ensuring the high quality and performance of our applications. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of mixed reality devices and platforms, and contribute to the continuous evolution of the Business. This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

    Preferred skills and experience

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
    • Exposure to designing and implementing mixed reality applications using Unity or Unreal game engines.
    • Strong understanding of mixed reality principles, programming patterns and best practices.
    • Knowledge of 3D modelling, animation and rendering techniques for mixed reality.
    • Strong problem-solving and creative skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Passion for creating engaging and innovative mixed reality experiences.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Researching and developing mixed reality applications that showcase our innovative solutions.
    • Collaborating with business stakeholders, software teams, and product managers to help understand requirements, translating them into captivating mixed reality experiences.
    • Developing and optimising mixed reality features for various devices and platforms.
    • Implementing cutting-edge techniques and methodologies to improve mixed reality quality, performance and user satisfaction.
    • Conducting research and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in mixed reality technologies, ensuring our thinking is at the forefront of innovation.
