As a Data Analyst for the Construction Industries (CI) segment within the Talent Acquisition space, you will leverage quantitative analysis, data management, and/or data visualisation skills as an individual contributor to project teams tasked with solving business problems. Caterpillar uses quantitative method such as business simulations, data and advanced statistical techniques to solve problems for internal and external customers.

What you will do (not limited to)

  • Data Analysis : Global scope for the CI Segment - Acting as a Data Scientist, responsible for collecting, organising, and interpreting statistical data. In other words, "transforming data into information" to assist the Recruitment and Selection area in decision-making.

  • Process/Project Improvement : Focus on helping the recruiter / area to expand their capacity and excellence by providing means and tools for analysis. Implement methods to increase the knowledge of our team and support areas:

    • Competitive Intelligence; - Ensure subject matter expertise in recruitment tools.

    • Operational Excellence: - Design and develop processes and dashboards, implement operational metrics and streamline and improve Workday (WD) and Recruitment Processes

  • Employer Branding : Employer Branding Guidance; Use of internal and external Recruitment materials.
  • Relationship Suppliers / Tools : Best practices for using Office 365 tools, process automation and WD reports.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in computer science, statistics, economics or mathematics.
  • Experience working with MS Office, industry standard statistics and data visualization packages.
  • Experience with job-related activities – data analysis activities.
  • Knowledge in Power BI
  • Advanced English
  • Interpersonal skills are required to deal with sensitive issues.
  • Self-starter, ability to work and lead global teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and
  • Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills, initiative, and intellectual curiosity.
  • Able to work independently or as a collaborative team member.

Top Candidates will also have

  • Thorough knowledge of existing and emerging Microsoft 365 and related core technologies.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Online and Power Apps/Automate/Virtual Agent platforms.
  • Knowledge with Workday system.
  • Knowledge in Lean methodology.
  • Fluent English.
