CGI is a place where your ideas and solutions are not just welcomed, but essential. You’ll collaborate with colleagues and clients, combining your creativity with our global expertise to develop innovative solutions that solve real-world problems.
Your future duties and responsibilities
In this role, you’ll help support secure and reliable applications that enable the delivery of essential public services. You’ll combine technical problem-solving, customer service and application support skills to help maintain resilient services and provide a positive experience for users.
You will:

- Support changes and releases: Assist with application updates, testing, deployments and configuration changes to help services continue running smoothly.
- Maintain technical documentation: Create and update support guides, knowledge articles and process documentation to help resolve issues consistently and efficiently.
- Apply security controls: Follow established procedures and contribute to the secure operation of applications that may handle sensitive information.
- Collaborate across teams: Work with application specialists, software developers, infrastructure teams, security colleagues and client stakeholders to deliver effective support.
- Innovate alongside other trainees and graduates: Take part in early careers initiatives that go beyond your day-to-day role.
Every contribution you make will help deliver outcomes with lasting impact.

This role is based in CGI’s North Wales office in St Asaph and starts in January 2027.

Your journey starts with a structured Early Careers Induction Programme, giving you the foundations to succeed, along with 24/7 e-learning and opportunities to gain professional certifications that build your expertise. You’ll also join our Student Kick-start Initiative, where you’ll collaborate with other trainees and graduates on creative projects that deliver impact beyond your day-to-day role.

We were recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and named a UK ‘Best Employer’ by the Financial Times.
