Graduate Software Engineer at Checkout.com
Checkout.com is actively looking for a number of hardworking Graduate Software Engineers. You'll work on the technical design, implementation, testing and deployment of several .NET Core applications composing our external and internal product suite. We value engineers who can adapt to constantly evolving requirements and who can think and design at scale.

About You
- You'll be a final year-student or recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a comparable qualification is desirable. Open to other degrees if you have evidence of relevant coding experience
- Enjoy learning new skills and using the best tools for the job
- Keen interest, awareness and understanding of server side programming languages
- Proactive and willing to contribute ideas, with a problem solving ability
- High standards of work and attention to detailWorked on and developed projects in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams
What You'll Be Doing

- Learn about event driven architectures
- Deep dive into multiple AWS services
- Contribute to our application lifecycle management
- Implement mechanisms to increase monitoring/observability of our services
- Collaborate with globally distributed and multidisciplinary teams
- Assist in requirements identification and in producing specifications
- Design, develop, and deliver new features on our RESTful API and related services
- Create and maintain a development environment for efficient testing and integrationAssist QA to define acceptance tests to be automated
- Support the creation and maintenance of user documentation
- Participate in team knowledge management and make recommendations for continuous improvement of SDLC
- Contribute and adhere to API coding standards, best practices and procedures
