We are looking for talented students to join an 8-week full-time, paid summer internship focused on AI research and development.

This is an amazing opportunity for students who are eager to apply technical and analytical skills in a business environment. Interns will work as part of a small cohort to support AI-driven initiatives, exploring how modern AI tools and techniques can be applied to real business and product-related problems across the organization.

About you 

  • Currently enrolled on an Undergraduate degree program, with at least one year of university study completed
  • Passionate about AI, technology, and business strategy
  • Competent with modern AI tools, platforms (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, Replit) and agent development
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex AI concepts into actionable insights
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, professional environment

It would be great if you also have:

  • Some hands-on experience with Python or similar programming languages
  • Prior experience applying technology to solve practical business or product-related problems

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Develop AI-enabled tools and analytical techniques, across Clarivate’s key domain areas, Academic research intelligence, Life Sciences intelligence and Intellectual Property intelligence
  • Assist in evaluating how AI-enabled capabilities can enhance products, platforms, or internal decision-making processes
  • Apply data analysis and basic engineering approaches to test ideas, assess feasibility, and evaluate outcomes
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to iterate on use cases and refine solutions
  • Help structure business and product-related problems, gather inputs, and translate findings into clear insights and recommendations

Hours of work

  • Full-time internship, for the duration of the program, primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed
  • Hybrid position working 3 days/week on-site
  • Must live within a commutable distance to London office
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the UK
