Overview

This Autumn, we are delighted to be running our first Clyde & Co Academy, designed to give students from ethnically and racially diverse backgrounds the chance to gain new skills, connections and the in-depth knowledge to succeed in a career in law and beyond.

Clyde & Co recognises that individuals from diverse ethnic groups such as Black Heritage are severely under-represented in the legal sector, and we want to create fairness at the firm for people of all ethnic and racial backgrounds – so everyone has an equal chance to succeed.

The Clyde & Co Academy has been set up in partnership with Bright Network to particularly support students diverse ethnic and racial backgrounds in reaching their full potential during their careers.

The programme will provide you with deeper insight into Clyde & Co and the wider legal industry, but also help you to build the technical skills and knowledge that will enable you to kick start your career in law. The two-month programme will include a mixture of tailored webinars, support, and networking, as well as 1-2-1 mentoring sessions with a member of the Clyde & Co team.

For everyone that completes the Academy, you will be invited to attend an Assessment Day in December with Clyde & Co for one of their 2022 vacation schemes.

How do I apply?

To get started, click on the link at the bottom of this page to fill in the short application form. Bright Network will then screen your initial application with successful candidates confirmed by the end of September.
