Coton-in-the-Elms CofE Primary School is a beautiful village school with approximately 140 pupils on roll, who are superbly behaved. Since September there has been a new leadership team in place, who have driven school improvement forwards and continued to ensure there is excellent provision for all its pupils. We are a good school with a real commitment to our children, our staff and our community, and a focus on achieving the best that we can in all that we do, both inside the classroom and beyond.
The role
This post has arisen due to our growing intake and desire to provide education in single age classes.
The school has experienced mentors, who will support the Early Career Teacher as they embark on their first steps into the teaching profession. Planning and preparation time along with dedicated ECT time will be provided along with professional development and a thorough induction process to prepare you for the role. The school currently works with the John Taylor Teaching Hub to provide coaching and support through the first year of your career.

The year group you will be working in is dependent upon the experience of the successful candidate and can be discussed at interview.
Initially this is a one-year contract, however this will be reviewed by governors prior to the end of the academic year.
