Programme overview
On the U.S. Tax Graduate Programme, you’ll shape the future with confidence by supporting asset management clients across the UK and Europe in navigating complex and evolving U.S. tax legislation. You’ll work in a high–performing and collaborative team, enabling you to develop deep technical expertise and leverage technology to deliver meaningful impact for clients and global markets.
Along the way, you’ll also study towards a globally recognised qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB) and Enrolled Agent.

What you will be doing
- Work on U.S. tax engagements for leading Private Equity, Hedge Fund, Real Estate and Credit Fund clients across the UK and Europe.
- Contribute to different stages of the tax lifecycle, from compliance and reporting, to supporting strategic solutions.
- Apply U.S. tax knowledge, data and EY technology to solve complex client challenges and deliver clear results.
- Develop your professional skillset through formal structured training, real client experience and ongoing coaching.
Eligibility for applying
You will need to be working towards an honours degree in any subject, have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, or in your home language if you do not hold English Language GCSE, and three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent) to be eligible to apply.

We have completed several studies on academic attainment at A-level (or equivalents), candidate performance in the online assessments in the EY recruitment process, and how that predicts future performance at EY.
