At the FCA, we regulate the conduct of nearly 50,000 businesses in the UK to ensure that our financial markets are honest, competitive and fair. Our ambition is to become a more innovative, more assertive and more adaptive regulator; one that fully capitalises on data and technology, ensures consumer protection and market integrity, and responds well to the challenges we face.
We’re looking for graduates to join our diverse and highly capable teams across the FCA.
About the programme
Programme length
- Two years
Programme type
- Rotational
The International Division develops the FCA’s strategy for engaging and influencing international organisations both in the EU and globally. The team is crucial to maintaining and enhancing our relationships with a wide range of international stakeholders and enabling the FCA to operate effectively in a changing international environment.
This is a great opportunity to help shape our international strategy, and ensure that the FCA delivers on its work on its international agenda.
There are a variety of teams and roles within the International Division, and you’ll get the chance to work on a variety of projects. You will be expected to take on a certain amount of responsibility from day one, across a varied portfolio during your time in International. You will analyse regulatory developments in the UK and overseas, engage with internal and external stakeholders, research and draft briefings and presentations for a range of audiences and provide insight and advice across the FCA.
What we look for
Our staff have diverse backgrounds, and no specific degree stands out as being essential. You will learn a lot on the job, so we don't expect you to already have a detailed knowledge of international regulatory matters. We're looking for somebody who is curious about financial services and regulation, take the initiative and a confident communicator.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
Learning and development
As a graduate in International, you’ll have the opportunity to study towards an Apprenticeship, Professional Qualification or enrol on a development pathway relevant to your graduate programme. We will also give you the support you need to develop your career at the FCA.
