Unique opportunity at our leading firm
Our Legal Graduate Programme is open to final year students and provides a stepping stone to qualifying as a solicitor our high-performing firm.
You’ll work alongside our talented team, providing legal support to trainees, lawyers, and partners – giving you a true picture of what a career in law can offer.
We’re looking for outstanding candidates, with excellent grades and first-class organisation, who are friendly, flexible, and ready to contribute and succeed with us.
How does the programme work?
- Legal Graduates join the firm on a 9 month contract, performance is formally reviewed at 3, 6 and 9 months, there is a Situational Judgement Test at 7 months and there are regular, less formal, check in conversations with a supervisor.
- At 9 months the firm will make the decision on whether to offer a training contract based on reviews and performance to date.
- If you successfully secure an offer you will be given a date to commence your training contract. There is likely to be a 12 – 18 month period between securing an offer and becoming a Trainee Solicitor. During this time you remain in your current department as a Legal Graduate gathering valuable experience.
- The offer will include SQE 1 and SQE 2 preparation and assessments. You may select a part time or full time option. We will discuss both options with you.
- Trainees are required to complete two years' qualifying work experience (QWE). Our trainees rotate seats over a two year training contract providing them with experience in different areas of law.
- Once you’ve completed your QWE and passed SQE 1 and SQE 2 assessments you will be able to qualify as a solicitor.
