We are looking for a Finance Officer to work in the Council’s Central Accountancy team. You will work closely with other team members to provide support to the wider Accountancy service focussing on treasury management, VAT and assistance with the production of the statutory annual financial statements.
We offer hybrid working, but most of your time would be working remotely. We also offer flexible working arrangements.
About you
You will be AAT qualified, a graduate in a relevant discipline, possess a similar qualification or have a demonstrable ability through experience to work at this level.
Experience of working in a finance function providing financial and management accounting support, audit or similar services is desirable but not essential.
