What you'll be doing

Our Graduate Programme has been designed to give you the fundamental experience and skill set to excel at L&G Asset Management.  You’ll join with a cohort of graduates and take part in our thoughtfully designed L&G Induction, providing you with insights about our business and helping you connect with your new peers to grow your professional network. 

In this role, you will join us on a full-time permanent basis and receive on the job training and coaching from your line manager and team to help you expand on both your business acumen and Investment skills.  Alongside this you’ll study for an industry recognised Professional Qualification. Combined, these will fully equip you to be successful in your role, with the knowledge and skills required to apply to real world business challenges.

Over the course of the 2 years you will be given the chance to experience different rotations giving you a broad range of experiences across different teams.


Qualifications

First and foremost, we are looking for graduates with an inquisitive mind and a desire to learn. We’re not expecting prior industry experience, but we’ll want to see that you have the tools to develop quickly. These include:

  • Achieved 2.1 Degree in any subject – we are open to all subject backgrounds
  • B in A Level Maths
  • Curious, motivated and have a desire to learn more about a career in Investment Management
  • Analytical and logical mind-set
  • Great communication skills
  • Flexible and a team-player
  • High levels of energy, dynamism and commitment
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
