Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Graduate to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.

As a Lotus Cars Graduate joining our ‘Go Beyond’ Graduate Programme you will become part of a team helping define, develop and launch the next generation of high-performance electrified Lotus sports cars as well as 3rd party projects.

What you'll do
- Successfully complete rotations and placements across different business functions delivering on the required objectives and developing strong relationships across the organisation.
- Support the implementation of business improvement projects and product deliverables.
- Develop a deep understanding of Lotus operations and area functions responsibilities.
- Build personal brand and network within the Lotus family.
- Developing core skills within ‘home’ function.
- Accelerate career development and technical knowledge.
- Develop an understanding of the culture at Lotus and understand the product DNA.
- Understand Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis /Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PMFEA)processes.
- Writing and scoring PFMEA’s, understanding risks and mitigation plans.
- Undertaking a significant process improvement project, with defined targets and milestones, that increases the efficiency of our Manufacturing Operation.
- Learning the Industrial Engineering processes and Lean Processes & undertaking Kaizen projects.
- Working in a fast-paced environment, with an output focused mindset.
- Demonstrating the ability to critically review work streams.
- Providing improvement ideas and solutions.

What youll bring
Essential
- Degrees in Mechanical/Automotive/Production Engineering or similar qualification.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
- Ability to work in small / medium sized enterprise undergoing substantial change.
- Flexible and able to rapidly reprioritise and produce excellent outcomes.
- Must have a recent Degree prior to start date.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
Manufacturing or engineering experience / placement.
