At Mace, we’re global experts in shaping the built environment – helping to lead the way to a more connected, resilient and sustainable world. From development and consultancy, to construction and operations, we connect expertise across the entire property lifecycle to help our clients, people, communities and society achieve more than they believe is possible.
The opportunity
This role starts inearly September 2024, and is based in Bristol in the Health sector within our Consult engine.
The development of healthcare facilities count among some of the most complex construction projects in the world. Whether public or private sector, primary care or acute, facilities need to work equally well for patients and those delivering their care. The healthcare sector is more complex and facing greater public scrutiny than ever before, as patients, government, and funding bodies demand more with less resources available. At a time when you are managing a complex and diverse range of stakeholders, budgetary pressures and resource constraints, our teams will work with you to ensure project success.
World class services and the clinical teams that provide them have exacting demands and expectations for their physical facilities and technical infrastructure. We are passionate about delivering cutting edge ‘state-of-the-art’ environments that make positive statements and push boundaries. We believe you should have buildings that enable you to expand, develop and enhance the work currently being undertaken in your chosen field of medicine.
In our Consult engine, you’ll be part of a global think tank where innovation and sustainability take the lead. We collaborate closely with clients to understand their individual challenges, lending new ideas and fresh thinking to make strategic decisions and shape project directions. We will follow our clients where they work, often sharing their locations. Whilst we visit projects and sites, Consult is more about delivery of creative solutions than hardhats. If on-site action speaks to you more, our Construct engine might be your scene – check out the hands-on roles we have there, where you’ll be turning plans into reality on the ground.
